Love for care
We're delighted to be shining a spotlight on care and the fantastic careers available within the Superior Care Home group.
Our carers, nurses and team contribute so much to our residents' lives and their families, 365 days a year. They are responsible for following a bespoke care plan for each of our residents, providing physical care, good food and importantly, an enjoyable and quality life.
But what is it that makes our care team different? Amrit Sumal, director of Superior Care, comments: "It's the people who make a difference. We have a warm and open family of staff who deeply understand that our residents rely on them for help around the clock.
"We want our families to know that when they step foot through the door of any one of our care homes, they feel like they're coming to their second home - and that their relatives are receiving the optimum levels of care we're renowned for."
A career in the care industry is known for being one of the most rewarding jobs that can be done, but what are the other personal and professional benefits of working in care?
Here’s some of the highlights our carers love about their job with us:
Flexible working hours - people lead busy lives and having flexibility in place can work for many staff. At Superior Care we understand that people aren't the same and need more flex in their working week, and with some wanting part time roles to others preferring to work nights or full time, there is a role for anyone who is passionate about caring.
No two days are ever the same - it’s never boring and our team say that they learn so much from every experience.
Peace of mind and security - our residents' families are at the heart of everything we do and by forging close working relationships with them we earn their trust from day one and keep open lines of communication always.
Job security and training - Many of our staff have been with us for over 10 years because of the rewarding roles and benefits they have received from us as a family-owned group. It’s easy to flourish with us and we provide the opportunities, training and support that's tailored to each individual.
